Part-Time Retail Associate

Position Summary

The Part-Time Retail Associate will support day-to-day operations of the shop, including assisting customers, processing sales, monitoring inventory, maintaining a clean and inviting store environment, support floral team with delivering flowers and taking orders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, has an eye for detail, and loves working in a creative, small business setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional attitude

  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations for gifts, boutique items, and floral arrangements

  • Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system

  • Assist with receiving, stocking, and merchandising products

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store

  • Help preparing floral/gift orders for pickup or delivery

  • Deliver floral and gifts

  • Support seasonal events, promotions, and displays

  • Perform opening/closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Must have driver’s license

  • Must be over 18 and available during store hours (9-5 Monday-Friday & 10-3 Saturday) and holiday hours (9am-6pm Monday-Friday & 10am-3pm Saturday & Sunday)

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time: (10–20 hours per week, flexible shifts including weekends)

  • Compensation: based on experience
